Running
I've been running since 1978. I took it up to fend off middle age - it didn't work. This is me in my very first race, a 3 mile race in Inverleith Park in Edinburgh.
I still do a bit of Cross Country and Road Running for Edinburgh AC.
Look at Boxing Day Fun on the Beach at Gullane .
I also run badly on the hills for Carnethy HRC.

Have you a heart rate monitor. Try a bit of training Make sure you're up to it first.
